Invasive Species include plants and animals both in water and on land. The term "invasive" was officially defined by Presidential Executive Order 13112 in Feb 1999 and refers to any species that is BOTH non-native to the ecosystem AND whose introduction causes or is likely to cause economic harm, environmental harm, or harm to human health.
