Boone County Invasives Cooperative is entirely made up of volunteers dedicated to reducing the economic and environmental impact caused by the spread of invasive plants and animals. We provide free land surveys throughout Boone County, conduct Weed Wrangle® events, have an invasives strike team that meets once a week, we plant trees, table at various events, provide educational talks on invasive plant management, host plant giveaways, provide invasive trade-in programs and more.
We are a fun bunch and welcome new volunteers in whatever capacity, availability or skillset.
